Experience the Magic of Zoom Teeth Whitening
Whether you choose to visit our Englewood or Venice office, Dr. Crupi will use hi-tech tools to whiten your teeth. Zoom by Philips is a fast yet gentle system that’ll improve the color of your smile while preserving your teeth. For your convenience, we offer both in-office and at-home whitening options.
In-Office Treatment
If you want to achieve a whiter smile as fast as possible, then in-office whitening is a great option for you. The process takes less than an hour and is completely safe for your smile. Once Dr. Crupi has evaluated your teeth, he’ll apply a whitening gel that includes safe and effective ingredients. Then, he’ll use a blue LED light to seal in the gel and deliver maximum results.
Depending on the amount of staining or discoloration in your smile, he may do this up to three times in a visit to make sure you walk out of our office with your desired shade.
At-Home Treatment
We know that not everyone has time to come into our office to have their teeth whitened, so we offer take-home kits too. These can be used during the day or at night and will brighten your smile in two weeks or less.
The kit consists of plastic trays and a whitening gel. Simply place the whitening gel in the tray and wear the trays for the recommended amount of time. Typically, you’ll be advised to wear them for 30 minutes during the day. The trays can be worn for 2-4 hours or even overnight if that’s more convenient for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is in-office whitening better than at-home whitening?
Dental offices are allowed to administer whitening treatments that have a higher concentration of a bleaching agent called hydrogen peroxide. This provides results instantly– without having to wait weeks compared to store-bought whitening treatments. Our treatments are applied by trained professionals to avoid contact with your gums for maximum benefits.
Zoom! whitening takes advantage of instant whitening effects offered in-office, with continued whitening that you’ll experience with the at-home system. If you’re interested, contact our Englewood office by calling (941) 475-9915 or you can reach our Venice office at (941) 485-1111.
Is Zoom! whitening bad for your teeth?
Zoom! Whitening has not been shown to damage enamel. However, the high concentration bleaching agent may cause some patients to experience sensitivity. This should dissipate within a few days after the treatment.
Why should I choose Zoom! whitening treatment?
Zoom! delivers fast results patients are looking for when seeking professional whitening treatment. In less than an hour, your teeth will be brighter immediately. After three days of treatment, your teeth will be up to six shades brighter.
How long does Zoom! whitening last?
The effects of the treatment typically lasts between 12 to 24 months. The length of time you’ll experience benefits depends on lifestyle choices following the treatment.
To get the most out of your treatment, you’ll want to avoid smoking, as well as certain food and beverages that are known to stain your teeth. Some of which include:
- Coffee
- Tea
- Red wine
- Berries
- Dark Sodas
It’s especially important to avoid these foods for the first week. Minimizing your consumption thereafter will improve the longevity of the whitening effects.
